The Journey of My Book

In this book, Finally, it's about this girl that is turning 13 years old. Her name is Rory Swenson. She wishes on anything! Birthday candles, stray eyelashes, shooting stars, coins in fountain, and even dandelion tops.

So she goes on a field trip to a reservoir, and somehow, she gets lost, and fall into a drainpipe. She gets stuck, and luckily, someone finds her and pulls her out. She doesn't know where her classmates are, so she runs for the bus.
Her birthday is coming soon, and she can't wait to get what she's wanted for a long time. Like a cell phone, a pet, a pony, etcetera.

"I'm sure it's not easy for her to have a best friend whose parents are so overprotected."
(page 12)
This sentence describes how her parents are like.

"Now with the big T-W-E-L-V-E looming ever closer on my horizon, my spirits have lifted themselves right back up, even without his help."
(page 16)
This is about the beginning of Rory's journey. I believe this quote represents the starting of the journey because, this is her 12th  birthday, and she has a chose of getting a phone, or having a party. Which ever way she choses, there is a journey leading to another in the future. If she choses to get her phone, her friend will be disappointed, but if she choses to do a birthday party, she will be disappointed, but her friend, Annabelle, would be happy. I think that she will chose to get a phone because she wanted it for years, and now she has a chance. If she does choose the phone, there will be a long journey ahead of time.
